Cathy Mitchell
Cathy transferred to the Bar in 2008 (Lincoln’s Inn), having practiced as a solicitor for 4 years. As a solicitor she obtained higher rights of audience (All Proceedings) and now has a mixed practice of largely employment, family and civil work.

Cathy welcomes instructions in employment cases, both for Claimants and Respondents.
Equine and Canine
A keen horsewoman and animal lover, Cathy is particularly keen to receive instructions in equine and canine related litigation. She is a member of The Equine and Animal Lawyers Association/

Cathy has experience of Children Act matters and ancillary relief, having been a practising family lawyer as a solicitor.

Cathy deals in particular with credit hire and road traffic accident cases and personal injury work. She has conducted trials on the small claims and fast track.
Crime
Prior to joining Chambers, Cathy worked at the CPS as a Crown Advocate, which included dealing with all types of matters in the Crown Court.
